The practice of paying attention on how we show up in others is of a great matter.
Sabi nga nila, first impressions last. So we have to make every opportunity to show up ourselves as a person of good integrity.
Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to the Father who is in heaven. – Matthew 5:16
Jesus, the light, shares his brightness to us. Pero hindi lang ito ibinahagi sa atin. There is a purpose on it. And that is, to shine in this world. When Jesus said, “let your light shine before men”, he expects us to do good and show kindness with other people. He expects us to be a living testimony. He expects us to shine bright in this world of darkness.
Kaya mo ba? Oo naman! Just show up! We are the sons and the daughters of the living God. Kahit maraming negativity, we can still show up to people that there is hope.
Just do good everyday. Yes! Daily. Even if it seems a day that you do not want to good because of what is happening around you. Remember, there is a mandate – to shine so that people will see it and they will give glory to God.
There is a song i love from Kari Jobe. Its title is “We Are”.
Saying, “we are the light of the world. we are the city on a hill. We are the light of the world. we gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine. Click this video to listen. May you be enlightened with this song 🙂
